What We Write For Hotels
- Your dog friendly landing page and pet policy page
- A rewritten pet policy, built on the one page Friendly Dog Policy
- Dog menu copy, checked for ingredients that should never reach a dog
- The arrival card and in-room guide
- A local guide for guests with dogs: walks, dog friendly venues and the nearest emergency vet, drawn from our dataset of 5 million trails, 250,000 venues and 3,400 emergency vets
- Booking platform descriptions, the press release for your grade and launch posts
- Briefing notes so your team says the same thing your pages do
Why Most Hotel Pet Copy Fails
We read 236 published hotel pet policies from 29 countries. Nine in ten contain more prohibitions than courtesies; the typical one forbids six things and offers fewer than two, and only one in five mentions something as basic as a water bowl. Even the noun gives a hotel away: policies that call the dog a guest read as the warmest we studied, and policies that call it an animal read as the coldest. A guest with a dog notices all of it.
How We Write
We lead with what the dog gets and where it can go. Costs go in one glance. Restrictions are stated once, kindly, at the end, never as the first thing a guest reads. Every fact comes from your own operation and nothing is invented, and every page is checked against the standard so it never claims something an assessor would not find. That last point matters more than style: copy that overpromises costs you the review and, at reassessment, the grade.
Questions
Asked And Answered
What does a pet content writer do for a hotel?
Writes the pages and materials a guest with a dog relies on: the dog friendly page, the pet policy, the dog menu, the arrival card, the local guide and the launch copy for the hotel's grade, accurate to what the hotel actually provides.
Can you rewrite our hotel pet policy?
Yes. We rewrite it as a welcome rather than a liability document, built on the one page Friendly Dog Policy, with the fee, deposit and dogs per room stated plainly. Your own counsel reviews the legal sentences.
Do you write in other languages?
We write in English. Translations are provided on request and flagged for native review before anything is published.
Will better copy change our grade?
No. The grade measures what your hotel provides and tells guests, not how well it is written. Good copy makes a good grade visible and stops a page promising what the hotel does not do.
Do you write for pet brands as well?
Our focus is hospitality: hotels, resorts and the groups that run them.
